Hi, I’m Jacqui - the owner of Ohh!

With over 35 years in dentistry, across NHS, private, military, voluntary and educational settings, my focus has always been clear, to make oral health more accessible, engaging, and truly impactful.

In 2020 I founded Ohh! Scotland’s first stand-alone direct access dental hygienist practice, underpinned by a ‘Whole Health not just Oral Health’ philosophy. Built from the ground up during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ohh! was designed to challenge conventional care models and fill a vital gap. With no external investment and against a backdrop of regulatory and professional resistance it took vision and a lot of courage. We opened with zero patients and have now built a thriving practice, building strong relationships with local dentists and specialists we can ensure continuity of care and integrated support for our patients.

I believe hygiene is a gateway to bigger conversations, about prevention, wellbeing, sustainability, and self-confidence. From building habits that last a lifetime to supporting global oral health and sustainability initiatives, my work is driven by purpose not protocol. I’ve always believed in creating what doesn’t exist if it’s what people need. That belief built Ohh! and it continues to drive everything that I do.
